Obesity is defined as having excess fat in the body. Obesity increases the risk of other diseases, like diabetes and high blood pressure. Doctors use the BMI (body mass index) which is based on body weight and height to determine if you suffer from obesity.
Extreme obesity or severe obesity known as morbid obesity. This condition where a person has a BMI of 40 or more. If you fall into the category of morbid obesity, you risk having a serious heart problems.

• Difficulty breathing 
• Often sleepy and tired
• Depression 

Causes & Risk Factors
Cause

 There are genetic and hormonal influences on body weight. The most fundamental is the obesity occurs when the body receives more calories than you burn. Calories are then accumulate and become fat.
Obesity is usually the result of a combination of the following factors:
• Not physically active so that the burning of fat to be a little  

• Eat foods high in calories, especially fast food  
• Some women are difficult to lose weight after giving birth, this triggers obesity  
• Lack of sleep 
• Certain drugs, such as diabetes drugs, anti seizure, antidepressants, antipsychotic, steroids and beta blockers.
• other medical problems.

Risk factors
Factors that increase the risk of obesity, among others:
• Genetic
 
• Heredity 
• Age 
• Eat foods that are unhealthy 
• Lack of exercise


Prevention
To prevent obesity may act as follows:  
• Exercise regularly 
• Eat healthy foods low in fat 
• Keep your healthy weight 
• Always consistent on the planning of your healthy lifestyle everyday
